As we go through life, it is safe to say that, on occasion, our self-confidence can take a beating. When we go through trials and tribulations, we can find that these little seeds of anxiety are sewn together and can build up over time.
When we have these little neuroses with ourselves they can add up to form a considerable component of our soul.
But when we have small anxieties, regardless of how little they are, it’s important that we remember we should take pride in who we are, and this can mean getting rid of these anxieties that are more annoying than harmful. But what can we do to ensure that we get rid of these little anxieties?
In this post, I’ll be sharing a few small tips on how you can get rid of these small anxieties.
So grab your mug of coffee or tea and let’s get right into it!
A Little Aesthetic Change
Let’s say if we are annoyed with our teeth because they just seem a little bit too crooked, there are a range of cosmetic dental treatments available. If we don’t like our hair, we can get a haircut. It’s common sense to get rid of them so we can automatically feel a bit better about ourselves.
Some people will justify not getting those little changes but a little aesthetic change can make us feel so much better about ourselves. It doesn’t need to be a massive change; it’s amazing what a change of clothes can do for our self-confidence.

Take Some Notes
When there’s a little problem that lingers at the back of our mind, getting it out on paper can make a massive difference to our perception.
If there’s something that we don’t like about ourselves, or we’re going through a little problem, a brain dump can give us the opportunity to see what we are worried about in black and white.
When you have a problem or a dilemma, before you go to bed, write down the good points and the bad points, and then go to sleep. You will be surprised that, come morning time, your subconscious has made the decision for you.
Whenever you feel that there are little problems, and you stressed out about them too much, even if you don’t have a sounding board, writing them down can give you that extra angle.
Practising Self-Care
Self-care is one of those things that, amazingly, so many of us don’t undertake in our daily lives. It is a perfect way for you to realize what is important and what are the small things that you are sweating over.
Self-care is about going to bed early, hitting the gym, meditating, or looking at yourself and seeing what you think you would benefit from. It isn’t at all complex, but in this busy world, we can feel that we don’t have that opportunity to look after ourselves properly. However, it’s something that we should make a priority. If you have a busy life, schedule it in!

Conclusion
When we have small anxieties, they can be annoying, but they are things that we can unnecessarily focus on like changing, taking notes and practising self-care. While it’s easy for us to say “don’t sweat the small stuff,” if we really want to practice this, we’ve got to develop our emotional toolbox.
