Do you have a presentation coming up or do you want to get high traffic to your blog from Pinterest? Use Visme infographics to show off your stunning data.
When you’re looking to invest in a design tool, it’ll always good to look for tools that involve as many different items as possible to express your brand and business.
Visme allows you to create not only infographics but also any other form of content such as flyers, scatter plots and any social media graphics that you could think of.
Lucky for you, I’m going to show you one social media content tool that will help you reach the sky highs on Pinterest, your presentations and send your message across.
So grab your mug of coffee or tea and let’s get right into it!

Now here’s the evidence…
Here is proof that it actually works. I made an infographic update a few months ago on one of my popular posts “8 Self-Care Apps to use Today”. I shoved the graphic to Pinterest as well as my blog post and it actually blew up (well that’s what I thought).
Oh, enough of me, it’s time to introduce you to Visme.
Create your Visme Account
You can try it for free by clicking here.
But before you can create your graphics, make sure to make your account first so that you can save you graphics in case your desktop ends up crashing. Once you’ve done that, it’s time to start!
Templates
Ok, for the non-designers out there, it can feel “life-threatening” and overwhelming when you’re starting out on a blank canvas. That’s why Visme created customisable templates for you who aren’t professional designers on Fiverr.
You’re shown with a few templates based on the social media content you want to create. It doesn’t just have to be infographics. If you’re a business person or student, you can create magnificent presentations (sorry Microsoft) or if you can even make web graphics.
Your choice: presentations, infographics, documents, printable, web graphics, social graphics or your own custom size.

Another way is to use the search bar and look up templates relating to your keywords. There are also suggested keywords on the side if you can’t think of a keyword to search up. For example, I searched up “health” and a bunch of health templates popped up.
Anyways, once you’ve found a cool design template, you can either click on “preview” to get a close up on it or you can start editing.
Informative Tutorial
If you’re a new user (which you are), you’re going to have a pop-up tutorial to show you around on how to create your infographic or social graphic.
This is a recommendation because it will confuse the fudge outta you if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Let’s get started…
Once you’re done with the tutorials (or you skipped it) you can start by editing. If you’re using a template (like I’m already doing), you can start by clicking on the object on the template and rewrite your text.
Suggested Content
On the side, you got suggested contents in “Basics” that you can add to your canvas.
You see there are sub-bars “Header & Text”, “Stats & Figures”, “Graphics & Text” and “Diagrams”. All you need to do if you found the one you want to add is drag the object onto the canvas. How easy is that?
Graphics
Now to move onto “Graphics”. Here, you can upload your own images or use the free ones brought to you by Visme.
You can also select “Icons & Shapes”.
Data
Here’s the important one. You want your audience to know the FACTS, yeh? Depending on your post, data is helpful for your target audience.
Media
The best thing about using Visme is by creating interactive graphics. If you’re creating an interactive graphic, you can insert a video, audio or embed online content.
All you need is to upload your mp” file or a link to your content.
Theme colours
I think this is one of my favourite tools. Why? Because I don’t have to select every colour individually. That’s what I did to my self-care infographic.
The theme colours will change everything on your canvas depending on the palette.
My Files
No, not “my files”. Your files.
The photos you uploaded to “graphics” is stored in your media storage. If you’re the organised type, you can create folders and place your files in each individual folders. If you have a business, you can share your media files as well through folders you’ve created.
Note: it does use storage limits so be vary when uploading non-important files.
For notes
Some items may be limited to premium users. So if you’re not a premium user, then you won’t be able to use the premium products. But you can still use the free products.
Conclusion
I may not have gone into full detail, but this is just a basic and easy showcase for Visme beginners. What are you waiting for? Start creating social contents for your business! Click here to get started.

An interesting read for me Ellen as I’ve never heard of Visme. I’ve been desperate to put together infographics, and even began trying to design one in my graphics editor, but I gave up as it was taking too much time.
I’m going to give Visme a spin on the free personal package to see how it works out. Thanks for posting about it.
Hey Paul, I hope it goes well for you! There’s awesome templates to choose from so you don’t have to use a lot of amount of time trying to figure out what infographics to design. Good luck! 🙂
Great information. Thanks for sharing!
